During my recent stay at this charming gem in the heart of Rethymno Old Town, I was pleasantly surprised by the cozy atmosphere and well-maintained property. My room was clean with comfortable beds, crisp white sheets, and a steady supply of hot water-essential after a day of exploring. Every morning, I enjoyed a complimentary buffet breakfast served in the lovely arched courtyard. While the setting was inviting, I did find the selection a bit limited, lacking fresh fruits and leaning more towards vegetables. Still, the friendly staff made sure my coffee was always topped up. I also appreciated the nearby dining options, with some delightful tavernas just a short stroll away such as Avli and Zefyros Family Fish Taverna, which provided excellent local flavors. One minor glitch was the bathroom door that occasionally caused a bit of discomfort, so it's something to be cautious about, especially with children. Despite that, the tranquil ambiance by the floodlit pool and the overall hospitality made for an enjoyable experience. If you're a food lover exploring Rethymno, this spot should definitely make your list.
